Cool Saturday
Morning sistas!
I am up and feeling pretty darn good this morning. That makes 2 days in a row. I play out fairly quickly, but at least I am waking up feeling like myself again. I think I am healing!
Yesterday Butch and I had a great outing. Oh, it felt so good to get out of the house for awhile. We went shopping and had lunch out, and yes, I was tired by the time we got home, but then I slept all night last night, so I think the exercise did me good.
Butch is such a sweetheart. He's taken to calling me "Skinny Girl"! I am not skinny. When we got married, I was skinny. At 5'10", I weighed 135 lbs, and I. Was. Skinny. LOL! But he just beams at me now and is constantly putting out a hand to make me stop and stand still so he can admire my flat tummy. I'm still irritated with him over doing our taxes, but he's charming me (as usual) and you can't fault him for being supportive.
So, I'd better get started on my chores for the day. Hope everyone is having a great Saturday, especially YOU, Judy! Go for a ride on your bike and get away from that crazy place for awhile. Connie, praying you had a better night last night!

Morning Vic and OFF family yet to come in...
Well last night I went to bed watched some tv and fell asleep...at 10:35 pm the dam phone rang and woke me up!!! It was the tenant that has the felon or a son...she wanted to let me know he was coming for the weekend...and that they were going to have Easter...GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR 
like that phone call couldn't wait til morning????????? Oh trust me when I see this tenant she WILL get told a thing or two!!!!! I am so sick of her calling me at all hours to let me know her precious son is coming then not coming over!!!!!!!! She thinks with all her calls I will get confused and not know if he is there or not!!!!!!!! Trust me...I KNOW!!!!!!!!!!! He HAS been there several times when she thinks I don't know!!!!!!! He is allowed to be here 2 times a week...so far this week he has been there 3 times and now this will make it 5!!!!!!!! YES 5!!!!!!!! Come Monday my boss is going to be getting a call!!!!!! I am fed up!!!!!!! This late night call was the last of her games!!!!!! After the week we have had that was the last straw!!!!!
Went to the funeral home last night and Irene was BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!! She was the best I have EVER seen!!!!!! We didn't go today. We just can't handle it. Family understood. So sad. Told them if they needed any help moving her things out to let us know. They thanked us for being with her til help arrived and giving them a couple more days with her.
Well it is starting to warm up some more and I plan on sitting outside today and if ANY tenant DARE bothers me...I am sure you will hear me ROAR!!!!!!!!!

Vickie....you are skinny!! Sorry you didn't get your taxes done. Darn men! So glad you are feeling better!!
Judy...you get on that bike and take a long relaxing ride. Keep that phone off! Go home and sit in the sun and drink wine...lots of it!
As for me...holding my own...I slept 4 hours with out waking. It is getting a bit better. The nightmares are still pretty bad.

Me again. I wish my new linen outfit would get here. I want to try it on, make sure it fits. Bought me a new top at Sams yesterday for Easter. (We're not going to church; it's for hunting eggs.) It's 100% cotton and pale orange and white, and I have some white capris to wear with it. Bought Butch a really pretty light green shirt in a linen/silk blend. Should be good for Easter and for the tropics. I'm ready to start my packing for Belize! I wish I was snorkeling today.

Oh hurray! My linen outfit came. I love it! I don't usually spend so much on clothes since I'm not working anymore, but the linen crop pants were worth it! Love the white tunic also.
Then, since I was in the mood, I tried on and tried on. I modeled every outfit for Butch (poor darling!) who had to find something complimentary to say about everything! LOL! But he was a good sport about it. I'm very happy to report that ALL my bermuda shorts fit now. And so did the capris I tried on.
Trying to narrow down my choices for Belize. Only taking one suitcase, so it's tough. I'm thinking 3 pairs of shorts, 2 pairs of capris (including the new linen ones), and a variety of tops. And I'll wear a long flowing skirt on the plane. One pair of pjs, one extra large tee for sleeping or lounging, some underwear, and of course, bathing suits. That will have to do. We will have a washing machine in our house, but no dryer, but I'll be able to keep our stuff clean. Shoes will be the toughest part. I'll need a pair of tennis shoes if we trek the Mayan Ruins, and they'll take up space. But mostly just sandals and a pair of water shoes.
I am getting so excited!

Thanks for all the birthday wishes yesterday. I had an uneventful day ... got up, had coffee and breakfast, had chili for lunch, went to work, brought in my German chocolate cake (nobody else would have brought anything in for me), then went to see my friend Richard after work and had a beer there. Didn't sleep all that well; got up at 9 a.m. It will be a long night.
Richard got an email from a job he applied for; it's a good sign. Swinging chickens for him. It's tough being unemployed. I know he's depressed.
Judy, you really need to get away from that place. I would hate to live in the same place in which I worked ... you'd never get any rest.
Connie, I hope you feel better. One foot in front of the other.
Vickie, glad you are doing better.
Well, not much else happening. Back to work tonight. Have a good day.
Hi there! Nothing much going on here! Im goung to cook for a passover dinner on Friday. Im making two Matza kugels.
Ill make them on Thursday. Inhave to make enoygh for seventy five people.
Tuesday im meeting a new stitching friend for coffee. She lives in St Petersburgh. We r going to crosstitch together for a bit.
